Product introduction
Alias: Titanium
English name: Ferrotitanium
Properties: Alloys composed of other alloying elements based on titanium are called titanium alloys. Titanium alloy has the advantages of low density, high specific strength, good corrosion resistance and good process performance. It is an ideal aerospace engineering structural material. Description: The main component is iron alloy of titanium and iron. It also contains impurities such as aluminum, silicon, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, and manganese. Used as a steelmaking deoxidizer, desulfurizer, deaerator and alloying agent. In the steelmaking process, it is added to the steel as an alloying element to refine the grain of the structure, fix the interstitial elements (C, N), and improve the strength of the steel.
Production Process
Titanium scrap and scrap steel were used as Raw materials and remelted in an induction furnace to produce ferrotitanium with about 70% Ti (Fe-Ti is in a low eutectic point of about 68% Ti). In order to reduce the burning loss of titanium during the remelting process, the titanium scrap is packed in a steel cylinder and then compacted. A mixture of cerium chloride and sodium chloride, or a cryolite, or a similar low melting point mixture, is added as a flux to cover the ferrotitanium melt. The remelting method can also produce various titanium composite alloys.
Our advantage
1. Large goods come directly from refineries or ports, without transit.
2. Year-round cooperative fleet, no special fare increase for transportation safety.

Application field
The addition of titanium to the cast iron contributes to the formation of fine-grained graphite, and also functions as degassing, nurturing, purifying and refining the microstructure of the casting to improve the wear resistance of the casting. The addition of titanium to heat-resistant cast iron improves the heat resistance of cast iron parts. In addition, superalloys and titanium-containing composite alloys for the production of aluminum alloys are used as additives. The welding electrode uses titanium iron as a coating component to improve the welding quality.
Titanium iron is a special alloy with a wide range of uses. It is added to steel as an alloying element in the steelmaking process, which plays a role in refining the microstructure grains, fixing the gap elements (C, N), and improving the strength of the steel.
