Product introduction

Alias: ferromolybdenum

English name: Ferromolybdenum

Properties: The role of molybdenum in steel can be summarized as improving hardenability, improving heat strength, preventing temper brittleness, increasing remanence and coercivity, and corrosion resistance in certain media, and preventing pitting tendency Wait.

Description: An iron alloy composed of molybdenum and iron, generally containing 50-60% of molybdenum, used as an alloying additive for steelmaking. In high speed steel, molybdenum can replace a part of tungsten. Molybdenum is used in combination with other alloying elements to produce stainless steel, heat resistant steel, acid resistant steel and tool steel, as well as alloys with special physical properties. Molybdenum is added to cast iron to increase its strength and wear resistance.

Production Process

1) The furnace is a cylinder placed on the sand foundation, which is lined with clay bricks, using 75% silicon ferrosilicon and a small amount of aluminum particles as a reducing agent.

2) Initiator (sodium nitrate, aluminum shavings or magnesium shavings) is used on the surface to react violently after ignition, then seduce, slag, and remove the furnace. The molybdenum iron ingot is first cooled in the sand pit, then sent to the cooling room for cooling, and finally crushed and finished.

Our advantage

1. Large goods come directly from refineries or ports, without transit.

2. Year-round cooperative fleet, no special fare increase for transportation safety.
