Product introduction

Alias: ferronickel

English name: Ferronickel

Properties: Nickel-iron alloy coating has good toughness, no less than bright nickel plating, and it is easy to manufacture products under cutting, bending, deformation and other conditions. Nickel-iron alloy coating is easier to set chrome than bright nickel plating, which is beneficial to improve parts. Corrosion decoration, surface hardness and corrosion resistance; Nickel-iron alloy coating has good corrosion resistance, and is characterized by no difference in brightness when the Fe content in the coating is below 12%, and the ductility is good.

Description: The main component of ferronickel is nickel and iron, and contains a small amount of cobalt in iron alloy. The mineral fracture is jagged, uncommon. It is produced by block or granular aggregate. It is iron ash, dark gray or black, streak iron gray, opaque, and the fresh surface is metallic luster.

Production Process

1) Directly partial reduction of ferronickel with carbon in an electric furnace.

2) The ore is reduced to ferronickel by a carbothermal method in a submerged arc furnace, followed by refining. Frost is 90%.

Our advantage

1. Large goods come directly from refineries or ports, without transit.

2. Year-round cooperative fleet, no special fare increase for transportation safety.

 Application field

The largest use of ferronickel is for stainless steel charge, as a substitute for nickel. In general, 200 series stainless steel can directly use low-grade ferronickel, and 300 series stainless steel can be used at 8% or more of ferronickel.
