Ferrochromium alloy
An iron alloy containing chromium and iron as main components. It is one of the main alloying agents used in the steel industry. It contains impurities such as carbon, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus in addition to the main components of chromium and iron.
Ferrochrome
Product introduction
Alias: ferrochrome
English name: ferrochrome
Nature: Iron alloy with chromium and iron as main components. It is one of the main alloying agents used in the steel industry. It contains impurities such as carbon, silicon, sulfur and phosphorus in addition to the main components of chromium and iron.
Description: Ferrochromium contains 55% to 75% chromium. It is classified into high carbon (4% to 10% C), medium carbon (0.5% to 4% C), and low carbon (>0.15% to 0.5% C) according to carbon content. ) and micro-carbon (≤0.15% C) ferrochrome. High-carbon ferrochrome is also called carbon ferrochrome. Medium, low and micro-carbon ferrochrome are also called refined ferrochrome. A high-carbon ferrochrome produced by a chrome ore with a low chrome-iron ratio, containing 50% to 55% of Cr as a furnace-grade ferrochrome, and a nitrogen-containing ferrochrome containing N2% to 10% as a nitrogen alloy agent, Also known as ferrochrome nitride.
Production Process
1. After the slag of the slag furnace is injected into the first barrel, the silicon-chromium alloy which has been initially desiliconized in the other barrel is exchanged. Since the excess amount of the slag oxidant is large, the desiliconization is sufficient, and the silicon-containing low is obtained. Micro-carbon ferrochrome at 0.8% and carbon content as low as 0.02%. 2. After the slag (about 15% containing Cr2O3) in the first barrel is moved to the second barrel, the silicon-chromium alloy (silicon-containing 45%) refined by the silicon-chromium electric furnace is heated into the slag. After the reaction, a preliminary desiliconized silicon chromium alloy (about 25% silicon) is obtained, which is further desiliconized by the first barrel, and the slag containing Cr2O3 is less than 2 to 3% and can be discarded.
Our advantage
1. Large goods come directly from refineries or ports, without transit.
2. Year-round cooperative fleet, no special fare increase for transportation safety.
